Pete Hoffman is the third of 12, Minnesota-born, genuine articles.  His own family now are wife, daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren.

He taught History and Russian for three years in Vermont and New York in the late sixties.  In the '70's he owned and operated My Brothers', a small business in Minnesota that specialized in wood-carved and painted objects, and bagged for groceries in his spare time.  After almost 10 years he gave that up to find a way to make a living.  Then after 14 years of his computer programming and her recreating therapeutically, he and his wife spent two years with the Peace Corps in Poland teaching English, and then settled in Denver where their daughter and family also resided.  In 2006 they all moved to Durham, NC, where he has opened a gallery where you may see some of the works on this website.

All the works on this site are his unless otherwise specified.
